Who is eligible for the D4 visa
- Individuals coming to Portugal for long-term programs in higher education institutions: Bachelor's or Master's degree;
- Individuals coming to Portugal for vocational education lasting more than one year;
- Interns or volunteers whose projects or studies will last for more than 1 year.
Portugal D4 visa requirements
- Proof of enrollment in a higher education or vocational institution in Portugal (assistance with enrollment is provided);
- Confirmation of sufficient funds to cover living expenses in Portugal for the duration of study (approximately 760€ x 12 months, with bank statements for the last 3-6 months);
- Federal certificate of no criminal record — your certificate must be apostilled. The validity period of the certificate is 6 months from the date of issuance of the certificate;
- Medical insurance with a coverage of at least 30,000 Euros and a period of at least 6 months;
- Reservation of housing for at least 12 months, issued through the Flatio service, or directly with the landlord. Key requirement: the lease agreement must be signed with a digital signature, OR a physical one, then certified by a notary. Attach proof of payment for the first month's rent to the contract, issued through digital service Financais. Booking start date = date of estimated trip to Portugal. Bookings made through Booking.com, Hotels.com, AirBnb, etc., are not accepted;
