The visa will allow you to enter Portugal and apply for a residence permit in SEF — Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras, which will need to be done within 4 months from the date of arrival in the country.
Who is eligible for the D3 visa

- highly qualified IT specialists, engineers;
- scientists, researchers, professors;
- outstanding figures of culture and art;
- specialists in the field of law, jurisprudence;
- representatives of other sectors of the economy with higher education and high qualifications.
Portugal D3 visa requirements
- availability of a working contract or a letter of intent from a Portuguese company for a period of 1 year or more;
- the salary specified in the contract must be at least 1.5 times higher than the average salary in the country - 851.13 € after taxes, or 3 times more than the amount of social support IAS (in 2021 - 438.81 €). The exception is professions from the list of the most popular in Portugal, for which it is enough to show an income 1.2 times higher than the average salary to invite specialists. In 2022, the established salary should be at least 1,500 €;
- it is necessary to confirm professional qualifications - a diploma of specialized education, professional development documents, certificates, etc. will do.
