Who is eligible for the Canada Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) visa

  • Foreign specialists who are ready to move to live and work in remote and northern regions of Canada, including for emigrating as a family.

Canada Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot visa requirements

  • Valid passport;
  • Approval-recommendation from the accredited community where the applicant plans to live and work;
  • A signed contract with an employer for permanent employment;
  • Confirmed experience of professional qualification (from one year in the last three);
  • Proven education (diploma, certificate, certificate, etc.) adequate to the position and community requirements;
  • High school diploma;
  • Proficiency in English at Pre-Intermediate level or above;
  • Proof of funds in the amount of $7,000 for one person, $8,650 for two family members, $10,600 for three members.
  • Certificate of criminal record.
