Visa for wealthy foreigners who want to live in Italy, receiving a passive income from abroad.
Who is eligible for the Italy Elective Residence visa
- Foreign citizens who want to live in Italy and can prove a sufficient level of passive income or financial wealth.
Italy Elective Residence visa requirements
- At least 18 years old;
- Proof of at least €31,000 per year per person or €39,000 per couple in a bank account or a passive income of at least €2,600 per month per person or €3,250 per month per couple (pension, rental income, deposit interest, share interest, etc.). For each new dependent family member 20% is added to the original amount;
- A rental agreement for at least one year or a title deed;
- Health insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000 for at least one year;
- A valid passport with an expiration date at least three months longer than the anticipated end date of the internship;
- Visa application form;
- 2 3.5x4.5 cm photos;
- Documents proving kinship (if, for example, a family moves to Italy);
- Visa fee payment.
