Summary of the germany Ethnic Germans visa program
Obtaining German citizenship and permanent residence permits for ethnic Germans and people with German roots but who live in other states, including in the former republics of the Soviet Union. In addition to citizenship, returnees can expect reimbursement for travel expenses, integration assistance, social benefits if necessary and if there are legal grounds for receiving them, and 200 hours of integration courses and German language courses.

- Ethnic Germans.
Germany Ethnic Germans visa requirements
- Born before January 1, 1993;
- Have documented German roots (proof up to and including great-grandparents is acceptable);
- You or your relatives lived in the USSR from May 8, 1945 or later;
- No close relatives holding high positions in the Communist Party of the USSR or bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- No criminal record;
- Knowledge of German at least level B1.
