Portugal Residence through professional course studies.

How the process usually works
Course study selection
Our consultant will assist you in selecting a course that is good for you. Some courses require advanced knowledge of Portuguese, some do not. There are various schools with different rules and admissions policies. We will guide you through selection keeping in mind your preferences. Professional courses for residence purposes have to last at least 12 months.
Course study payment
As a rule, most professional course schools ask for a full payment in advance, however, some also offer split payments. You would need to show your first or full payment to Immigration service (AIMA) when applying for your residence.
Document preparation
After payment, the school will send you confirmation of your admission to the course. This is a required document before applying for residence.
Arrival to Portugal
If you haven't yet arrived to Portugal, now is the time to do it.
Getting your NIF number
You would need your tax ID (NIF) number, and we will be getting one for you.
Getting your Immigration Service (AIMA) appointment
To get your residence process going, you would need to have an appointment made with AIMA. There are special times for that, usually about 3-4 times per year. We will assist you in this task.
Document submission to AIMA
On the date of your AIMA appointment you would need to come with your residence document package. We will thoroughly check all documents and assist you in preparing for your AIMA meeting. After your AIMA appointment you should expect your residence card in the mail.
