- Foreigners coming to Slovenia for work.
Slovenia work visa requirements
- Valid passport;
- Official invitation from the organization where the applicant will work;
- Health insurance policy with full coverage;
- The salary of a foreign worker cannot be lower than the average wage defined by the Slovenian legislation - 1595€ per month before taxes;
- The applicant finds an employer and negotiates the terms of employment with him/her;
- The employing organization provides the applicant with an employment contract or an agreement of intent to employ the foreign specialist;
- The applicant submits the documents for a visa at the Slovenian Consulate in the applicant's country (in some cases a personal interview may be required at the Slovenian Consulate in the country of application) - not earlier than 90 days before the date on which the applicant intends to start his or her studies;
- After receiving the visa, the applicant comes to Slovenia to work.
